That's the whole point. Every fragment is source-checked against academic references. We include confidence levels on claims and never present myths as established fact. All content is written and reviewed by humans.

Does Fragmenta work offline?

Is Fragmenta available on Android?

By downloading, installing, or using Fragmenta (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Fragmenta is an iOS application that delivers daily curated micro-content about classical Greek and Roman history. The app provides daily fragments, reading progress tracking, streak tracking, and the ability to save fragments for later review. Free users receive two daily fragments, while Premium subscribers unlock all five daily fragments plus additional features.

Use of the App

You may use Fragmenta for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
Reproduce, redistribute, or republish the content without written permission.
Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the app.

Intellectual Property

All content within Fragmenta — including text, editorial selections, design, illustrations, and code — is the property of Fragmenta or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Classical artwork images used in the app are sourced from the Metropolitan Museum of Art Open Access collection under Creative Commons Zero (CC0) public domain designation.

Content Accuracy

Fragmenta strives for historical accuracy and factual rigor in all content. However, historical interpretation can vary among scholars, and we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy of every statement. Availability

We aim to deliver fresh daily content but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Fragmenta offers the following subscription plans:

Monthly: $0.99/month with a 3-day free trial.
Yearly: $8.99/year with a 7-day free trial.
Lifetime: $24.99 one-time purchase (available during launch period only).

All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region due to local currency conversion and applicable taxes.

Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store. The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment and does not require cancellation.

Free Trials

Certain subscription plans include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID account will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial expires. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may be limited to one trial per Apple ID.

Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. To request a refund, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Fragmenta is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fragmenta and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time without prior notice. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

End User License Agreement

Your use of Fragmenta is also governed by our End User License Agreement (EULA), which supplements these Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the EULA, the EULA shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fragmenta operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
